Application Information for Accompaniers from the United States

US applicants are encouraged to discuss their interest in the EAPPI with their family, friends and church community. Applicants should be at least 25 years of age and in good health.

Applications are received on a rolling basis. Candidates are interviewed by members of the EAPPI-US Coordinating Committee and recommended to the World Council of Churches. Applicants should allow up to 2 months for application processing, up to 6 months for fundraising.

US accompaniers are responsible for expenses to participate in EAPPI. The cost of the EAPPI program is $6,000 for a minimum 3-month term. That amount does not cover roundtrip travel to Jerusalem (most often via Washington, DC).
