EAPPI Placement Update February 2009

In the February 2009 issue of the EAPPI Placement Update the 30th Group of EAs report on particular developments in their placements. The February highlights include:

- the Israeli army invades Jayyous on 17-18 February

- the fight for Al-Bustan, Silwan, continues

- Israeli High Court approves demolition of Khirbet Tana village

- enclosed villages east of Qalqiliya struggle with home demolition orders, a new settler road and a re-routing of the wall

- the on-going struggle of Um Kamel in Sheikh Jarrah, Jerusalem

- another home demolition in At-Tur, Jerusalem
