A short story of a marriage with obstacles at the DCO checkpoint in Qalqilya, an occupied town on the West Bank, Palestine.

A decorated car arrives to bring the bride out from Qalqilya. It has to wait at the checkpoint, like all others, for two hours in the intense summer heat.
